Welcome to Vrba Beef. We are Joe and Christiana Vrba, and together we raise cattle and wrangle two boys, Henry and William. Joe is a proud fourth-generation cattleman, learning to care for our cattle from his grandfather and dad. Christiana is a city girl turned farmers wife real quick! We operate our family owned cattle feed yard right where Joe’s grandparents raised their cattle. We farm the same land they raised their crops on. We are proud to have grown the family operation to what it is today and hope that our boys will choose to grow with us.
No two days are the same, and I think that’s exactly what Joe loves about it. Daily you can find Joe behind the wheel of the feed truck, Christiana walking pens, and the boys tagging along. Some of our best family memories are made in the barn and around the working facility. We pride ourselves on giving our cattle the best care that we possibly can and providing them with all they need.
We are so proud to be on the same spot that has survived through the years. It hasn’t always been easy for the Vrbas, but we hope to continue the family legacy. Raising the fifth generation on this plot of land is not something we take for granted and will continue to make our families proud. We hope you join our larger farm family and enjoy the ride!
Home Grown
Not only are Vrba Beef cattle raised here on our feed yard, but the food they eat is also raised by our family. We grow all of the corn and hay that our cattle are fed. We work closely with a cattle nutritionist to ensure each pen is receiving the correct rations.
Well Cared For
Our cattle receive the best quality of care we can provide. We provide wind breaks for the harsh winters and shade and misters for the hot summer days.
We have our Beef Quality Assurance Certificate, which means we are dedicated to responsibly raising safe, wholesome, high-quality beef. We have a commitment to delivering a product that is backed by science-based standards.
Quality Meat
All of our single-animal-sourced meat has an extended dry age time of 14-21 days. This allows our meat to obtain a better flavor and become more tender by naturally breaking down the muscle enzymes.
We are proud to provide high-quality beef.
